Needle Exchange Service

Our Chaddesden, North Street, Oakwood, Sinfin, Draycott, Castle Gresley and Stenson Road branches offer a Needle Exchange Service to local patients.

This service allows patients to return all used needles and injecting equipment and receive a new supply of sterile and safe disposal equipment. By returning injecting equipment to our pharmacies this service reduces the risk factors and helps in the prevention of diseases transmitted through injection i.e. HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis.

To sign up for this service or for more information please speak to your local Wilsons pharmacist, they will be happy to help.
