We are looking for a reliable, friendly Counter Assistant for our Draycott branch. Full-time hours are Monday–Friday (40 hours per week). We are happy to discuss flexibility for the right candidate. No previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is required. We welcome applications from people of all ages who have strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable manner.

Your Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers at our Draycott branch. Main responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and providing a warm, helpful service
• Operating the till and handling cash and card transactions accurately
• Assisting with over-the-counter product sales, merchandising and stock replenishment
• Answering basic product and wellbeing enquiries (non-clinical)
• Supporting the smooth running of the counter and general administrative tasks
• Working as part of the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of service

Full training will be provided. There is also a clear opportunity to train and progress into a Dispenser role should you wish to develop further within the business.

What We Are Looking For

We are interested in candidates who bring a genuine customer-first attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. Pharmacy or healthcare experience is not essential. What matters most is your ability to connect with people and contribute to a positive, professional environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing within the role
